With the introduction of the BYOD scheme into many private and public schools, has brought with it many a damaged device.
When we were at school we were able to throw our bags over trees and at each other with only the fear of slightly crumpling some paper, or putting a small bend in an exercise book. In a way we were able to be kids without dealing with the potentially expensive consequences of a damaged Laptop, iPad or Asus Tablet.
Things are so different now. On one hand kids are being given the opportunity to have technology and vast amounts of information at their fingertips, but on the other hand they are having a new kind of responsibility thrust upon them. I don't think I could imagine being thoughtful of my bags contents each time I picked it up and put it back down. Modern times though.
I'm seeing a lot of damaged laptop screens, iPad screens, and possibly the most popular, damaged Asus T100 & T200 screens. I would say 90% of them happen when they are in bags.
